Our story
Supported by volunteers and people who care
Paw Squadron is an animal rescue organization supported by volunteers from all over the world. Most of our rescues, and most of the filming, happen in the Balkan region of Europe: Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Serbia and Greece. We rescue animals in need, provide veterinary care and shelter, and find each of them a forever home.
Behind every rescue are volunteers who give their time and people who simply want to help. Together, we do the best we can with the resources we have, to make a difference for animals in need.
In our own words
Why we do it
To help abandoned and stray animals find safety, care and people who love them. We started in Europe, and step by step we want to reach animals in need all over the world.
Our promise
How we work
Five commitments that guide everything we do.
- We are here to help.We do our best to respond to every report of an animal in need, and the most urgent cases come first.
- We show the work. Many of our rescues are filmed and shared on our channel, so you can see the work for yourself. A lot of it also happens off camera.
- Our resources go toward animal rescue.Together with our own funds, the support we receive from patrons, channel members and donors pays for rescues, veterinary care, food and shelter.
- We give the best veterinary care we can.Checkups, operations, medicine, vaccinations, passports and microchips, for every animal in our care.
- We look for the right home.We do our best to make every adoption a good match, for the animal and for the family.
